Divided line

ProQuest Trainers are available to conduct training sessions for your class, either in person or online. For asynchronous online courses, Trainers can provide a recorded session. We offer presentations on the following topics, and all sessions can be customized.

Careers in Electronic Publishing

ProQuest employs more than 100 individuals with library degrees. These employees work in a variety of positions throughout the company and around the world. In this hour-long presentation learn more about some of their alternative careers in librarianship, the products these information science professionals help make possible, and the steps you can take to better position yourself to enter the job market, no matter what type of library work appeals to you! This presentation is also offered via webinar. Click here to view upcoming sessions and to register.

Improving Vendor Relations

In this hour-long presentation, learn about how libraries and vendors interact, including information about the sales call, pricing models, consortia, and trade shows. We also discuss deceptive sales techniques and how librarians can influence vendors. In short, learn how to make your vendor work for you!
